Silverfall

Silverfall

The band conjure up comparisons to The Cranberries and The Sundays and Jenny›s voice in particular is a throw back to the likes of Stevie Nicks. Influences range from Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Carole King, Eurythmics to Chris Martin.
The three tracks on the sampler include “Don't Cry Michael”, which was written by Jenny for Michael the bass player when he was going through a particular tough time in his life as well as the rousing “Hey Now” and finally “Last Statement”.

Watch out for Silverfall!

Tony Hadley
'Passing Strangers'

Release Date: 16th October 2006, CURB RECORDS

Renowned for working with great voices, Tony has spent many, many months crafting what is likely to be one of his defining musical sets. When one considers the likes of Tony Bennett, and Matt Monroe we think of their supreme ability to make a song their own and stamp their identity upon it. Tony Hadley has followed suit, undoubtedly creating his own unique vocal interpretations of some of the greatest songs ever written and making them his own.

With a major UK tour, along with TV appearances in the autumn to support the release of ‘Passing Strangers’, Tony is set to be taking the country by storm. Don’t be surprised to hear this album being played regularly on a radio near you soon or even whilst enjoying a coffee in one of the nations hundreds of coffee bars.

Tony Hadley has one of the most emphatic and recognisable voices of the past twenty five years; a voice that has been responsible for etching into the minds of the British public some of the most romantic songs of a generation, sung whole-heartedly as the front man and leading light of the band ‘Spandau Ballet’.

Yet it has taken him all this time to fulfil what has been his dream, the dream of creating an album of swing and jazz related arrangements that perhaps highlight above any other style the classic nature of Tony’s vocal talent.

“Passing Strangers” is proof that Tony’s star will be burning bright for many years to come.

It’s set to be a good year..
