I’m an independent Canadian Rock musician that recently hired Quite Great PR to spread the word about my 3 solo albums. Quite Great is a PR company that got who I was all about, and got the message about me out to so many places I couldn’t believe it. The team there really studied me and my previous bands and what my message was/is and stuck to it. My experience with the very few responses I got from publicists was “Don’t bother, the band name’s too tricky” or “We don’t really handle that genre” which was Rock. Quite Great has a lot of experience with so many Rock acts it showed instantly, they immediately knew who to go to for reviews. I went from about 2 reviews to over 20 from them in a short amount of time. A big one was my story about seeing an Ogopogo (which is a Canadian Loch Ness Monster) while recording my latest album. They got that story onto the Horrorpedia website, the article about me got more than 14 million views! (and Counting!). That is an unbelievable number of views, I would never have thought of Horrorpedia ever by myself, but because Pete and Daz and the team at Quite Great know what they’re doing, they seized the moment and got me in there. This was true for a lot of reviews they got me. They care about the clients and are able to help get you noticed big time. Also I’ll say it again because they are so knowledgeable of Rock music genre and with such a great history of clients, they know what they’re doing. I would hire those guys again in an instant. Independent artists out there, please listen. I have been in contact with numerous PR agency, and I’ve worked with a few. Most of them really don’t care about you. Their focus is directed towards the big label companies. And if you’re not a signed artist, they put in no to little effort. They will take your money and do nothing.
