Quite Great is pleased to be working on the latest Classical Music PR campaign from Bristol-based British-Polish composer Joe Galuszka. This release marks a powerful moment in contemporary classical music.
His new single, Requiem for Mum, is a deeply moving composition. It forms the emotional core of his forthcoming debut EP, Fractures. The piece was written in memory of his late mother. As a result, it carries both personal and universal meaning.
Originally, the work was composed for his mother’s funeral. However, it has since evolved into a piece that resonates more widely. Now recorded with The Bristol Ensemble, the track blends intimate chamber textures with orchestral depth.
At first, the composition unfolds with restraint and fragile textures. Then, it gradually builds through subtle motifs. As the piece develops, it guides the listener from grief toward reflection and quiet strength.
The track was mixed by Alex Garden (Tarran) and mastered by Nick Cooke. Notably, his credits include Ramin Djawadi and Hans Zimmer. Therefore, the production achieves both cinematic clarity and emotional honesty. In addition, visuals directed by Giles Pitman enhance the reflective tone.
As part of our classical music PR campaign, Quite Great is delivering targeted press outreach. This includes specialist classical media as well as broader cultural platforms. The campaign spans the UK, Europe, and the United States.
Overall, Requiem for Mum is a defining release within Fractures. The EP explores themes of grief, healing, and personal transformation. Through this project, Joe Galuszka establishes himself as a compelling new voice in modern composition.
